Orange Lake is a lake outside of Newburgh,New York. I grew up there. There is a phenomenal restaurant on the lake called the Lake View House. My niece who has been living down south since 2008 was in town so my wife and I took her to dinner there last night. One thing about the lake, the topography of the area around the lake makes thunderstorms on the lake absolutely vicious! Especially when they come out of the northwest. The lake gets worse than the ocean. The waves get huge and spaced really close together. You do not want to be out on the lake when a storm comes in! On our way down to the lake last night we ran through a storm. We got to the restaurant and as we were sitting there eating the sky started closing in. I looked out the window and saw this view. I ran out to the car and grabbed my camera figuring we were going have a front row seat to one of mother nature's great show's. As I was getting up my wife looked at my niece and said "this is what he does all the time" and laughed. When I came back in a woman at an adjacent table started asking what camera I was using and talking about the camera she just bought. Sometimes I should just ignore a great shot but I cant! As it turned out the storm did not materialize but the sky really got wild looking. I ran back outside and took the shots I needed to make this panoramic shot. my wife and niece made a few teasing comments about me and the camera and we got back to enjoying dinner and each others company. The food was awesome, we had an awesome time and got a great picture to boot! . Production and Shipping Time:
