I've always found solace in the presence of the Statue of Liberty. The melody of the wind carried the theme from Gilligan's Island, an ironic soundtrack to our unexpected adventure.

With a reluctant acknowledgment of the changing conditions, we made the decision to turn our vessel around, retracing our path back to the safety of the marina. The return journey was nothing short of chaotic. Rain lashed against us, and the boat danced upon the tempestuous sea. In that turbulent voyage, I found a metaphor for the challenges that our nation faces. The Statue of Liberty, standing steadfast, reminds us that even in the fiercest storms, the ideals and principles upon which this country was founded endure. As we navigated the treacherous waters, I couldn't help but feel a sense of unity with the millions of immigrants who had sought refuge on these shores.
